We started with two partner families in the Nilgiris — and we're growing farmer by farmer, harvest by harvest.
The Nilgiris
Blue Mountains, golden pepper
The Nilgiri Hills — literally "Blue Mountains" — span Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala. Our partner farms are concentrated in the Tamil Nadu belt around Coonoor, Kotagiri, and Gudalur.
This UNESCO-recognised biosphere reserve sits at the junction of the Western and Eastern Ghats, creating a unique microclimate perfect for pepper cultivation. Cool nights, warm days, and abundant rainfall produce berries with exceptional piperine levels.
We currently partner with 2 farming families — and we're adding more each harvest season, one village at a time.
